Our dentists and support staff are here to help with everything from routine check-ups to more complex treatment, and we love getting to know our patients over time.
Dentist
Rachel graduated from Griffith University Dental School in 2011 with Academic Excellence. She is passionate about providing a caring and gentle environment for all patients regardless of age. Alongside private practice, Rachel has worked in remote indigenous communities, whereby she provided emergency, general and preventative dental care.
Rachel focuses her clinical practice on clear aligners and general family dentistry. She thoroughly enjoys treating children, especially if it is their first dental experience. Outside of dentistry, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and rescue cat, Coconut.
Dentist
David is a born and breed Queenslander. He completed his schooling on the Gold Coast and graduated from Griffith University Dental School in 2020 with Distinction. In his final year placement, David spent time in the Darling Downs. He spent his graduate year in Mackay working for Queensland Health in the public sector before moving to private practice. In addition to speaking English, David is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese.
David loves practicing the full scope of general dentistry and applying the most contemporary evidence based approach to each person’s unique dental needs. Along with the wonderful Sherwood Smiles team, he looks forward to providing you with a friendly, warm and professional dental experience.
Dentist
Dr Vicky was born and raised in Brisbane before she completed her dental degree in Cairns at James Cook University. She gained valuable experience working in the public dental sector across Townsville and Cairns before moving back to her hometown.
Dr Vicky is passionate about providing gentle, stress-free dental care and takes the time to ensure her patients feel heard, comfortable, and well looked after at every appointment. She has completed additional training in clear aligner orthodontics and dental implants, allowing her to help patients restore both function and confidence in their smiles. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is seeing patients smile freely again.
Outside of dentistry, Vicky enjoys rock climbing, baking, reading, and getting creative with crafts. She is also a big foodie and loves getting reccommendations, so be sure to share them with her at your next appointment!
